kustavi
Kustavi lies in the archipelago of the south-western Finland. A bridge (Kaitaisten silta) connects the town to the mainland. Kustavi is situated 69 km from Turku and 50 km from Uusikaupunki. Kustavi has excellent ferry connections to the Åland archipelago and Iniö. There are about 2000 islands to explore in the Kustavi area.
The area boasts of fabulous scenery and an opulent nature that offers its wonders all year round: you can spot deer, roe deer, moose, rabbits and squirrels. Especially rich is the bird population of the archipelago. Some of the species that can be seen here are greylag geese, arctic skua, eiders, white-tailed sea eagles and mute swans.
Kustavi enjoys active life all year round, but especially in summertime the area is truly vibrant. It is one of the most popular summer vacation resorts in Finland (people own cottages in the area) and the number of the inhabitants ten folds in the summertime. Small enterprises are highly valued in Kustavi and they provide a wide variety of services for travellers.
